What we do
The Guild works on a different challenge or project each month.
Members can catch up here (login required)!
From crib size to king size quilt, we support local charities.
We also have members who create fidget quilts for charity.
Many of our members have recently contributed to the guild effort of making masks for local health offices and community service organizations. More than 3,000 masks have been made and contributed to these efforts. Our efforts were recently featured in an article on Sarasota Magazine's website and in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
More information about our project can be found on our mask project page, including requesting masks, how you can help our efforts, and some of the patterns we are using.
We have several smaller groups meet throughout the greater Sarasota area. Named after the dolphin pods that swim in the Gulf of Mexico, we encourage our members to visit a pod and sew with some new friends!
More information is available to members in the members page (login required).
Active S2MQG members can access the members page clicking on Members or Login. Each member will use their own email address. The reset password link is a helpful tool to regain access, if necessary.
Members who have not yet paid their 2020 dues will be prompted to access the Please Renew Your S2MQG Membership page, which includes the current membership form.
Inactive members will be removed from the Facebook group by the end of March.
